Rust Life:02-04

Rust Life:02
I decided to start close to a city.  There is a large rock castle to my left and a shack to my right.  I walk through the shack finding a locked door I cannot open.  Heading out the back I run into a bloody, literally bloody, not British, bear.  The bear attacks me, so I fight back with my boulder.  I give him one good smash in the face and am subsequent mauled to death by the bear.

Rust Life: 03
There was some tires and a barrel in the distance.  This is the first time I've seen anything besides buildings or nature. Upon investigation I find a crate containing a flare and some bullets.  While looting the crate I notice my RADs increasing at a crazy rate. On a nearby rock there is a bloody bear who growls at me.  Remembering my last encounter with a bloody bear, I turn and run.  While running away I contract radiation poison and start taking damage.  I keep running and thankfully the radiation subsides and I start getting my health back.  I come across a road and a couple buildings. Walking towards them I see a boar.  Knowing that I will need food I pull out my boulder to attack it.  Unfortunately, I hear a growl.  There is a wolf behind. I fruitlessly swing my boulder at him a couple times before he kills me.

Rust Life: 04
Starting in an area void of landmarks, I walk through the trees and past the large boulders.  A wolf howls and I know that he is right behind me.  Without seeing the wolf, I run my ass off to get away.  I see a large complex of buildings including a silo.  Making my way through a gap in the gate, I head into the closest building.  My RADs are rising, so I quickly loot the create closest, finding my health kit.  RADs are still rising so I quickly exit the structure, making my way back into nature. The RADs are going down as I move away from the complex, which is a relief.  I find a couple boulders.  Since I had been having such a hard time finding these earlier, I prioritize mining them.  Then I hear another howl from a wolf.  Without thinking twice I start to book it as fast as I can away from the howl.  After running for five or so minutes I slow down and turn around to scan the area.  Another howl goes out before I can properly survey the area.  Vietnam flashbacks fuel my run as waste no time heading breaking into a run. I run, run, and run, finally stopping to look around when I take damage from the side.  It is the same wolf.  I hit him futilely

with a rock. This cross country wolf kills me.  I just want to make a stone ax.

Rust Life:01

I awoke in a valley, cliffs on either side.  Heading through the rocks on the cliff side, I found I could not seem to gather stone from the cliff's boulders.  I went back down into the valley, following it to find a deposit of gold and then coal.  Not having the tools necessary to mine them, I set my goal to find stone and wood to create an ax.  The wood was easy to procure off a close by tree, so I continued on through the valley, eventually reaching the sea, not finding any stone.  Veering to the right after hitting the sea, I continued on into the night, not any stone in sight.  Halfway through the evening I become hungry, then starving, starting to lose life as I walk on looking for this ever elusive stone.  The sun starts to rise, creating a beautiful sunrise when I finally stave to death.  I never found any stone.
